Five-time World Cup aerials champion and five-time Olympian — on resilience, mindset and champion thinking.
Jacqui Cooper OAM is Australia's most successful World Cup skier and one of the most resilient athletes this country has ever produced. She won the World Cup aerials title five times — more than any other aerial skier, male or female — taking 24 World Cup victories from 40 podium finishes, and was world champion in 1999. She competed at five Winter Olympics between 1994 and 2010, becoming the first Australian woman to make five Olympic teams, summer or winter, across a career that included devastating injuries, career-threatening setbacks, and the mental discipline required to return, rebuild and compete again when many would have walked away.
Her speaking is built around what that experience has taught her about the inner architecture of sustained high performance. Jacqui is deeply interested in the mental dimensions of achievement: how champions think, how they set goals, how they respond to failure, and how they manage the gap between where they are and where they want to be. These are not abstract questions for her — they are the territory she has lived in for the better part of her adult life.
For leadership, sport and wellbeing audiences, Jacqui Cooper offers a perspective on resilience and champion thinking that is both personal and transferable. Her presentations are warm, engaging and grounded in the kind of experience that gives her words genuine weight. She is a particularly strong fit for events where the room is navigating change, challenge or the kind of long-game commitment that separates good from great.
