Gardening Australia presenter and horticulturist — on sustainable living, food gardens and growing well in changing conditions.
Sophie Thomson is one of Australia's most experienced horticulturists and a long-time presenter on ABC's Gardening Australia — work that has put her at the centre of the national conversation about sustainable food gardens, climate-adapted growing and the practical reality of living well within environmental constraints.
Her speaking is warm, practical and grounded in decades of horticultural practice in challenging South Australian conditions. She translates content on food, soil, water and seasonal change into language that lands with corporate audiences thinking about sustainability, supply chains and resilience in their own organisations.
For event organisers, Sophie is a strong fit for sustainability programs, education events, regional and rural conferences, and in-house audiences where the brief is genuine warmth combined with substantive content on the long-form work of growing well.
Sophie Thomson is a keynote speaker and entertainer based in South Australia who speaks on media & journalism and sustainability & ESG. Book through Executive Speakers Australia.
