Netflix special (produced by Bill Burr), Variety's 10 Comics to Watch 2025 — a fearlessly funny voice making serious noise on the global circuit
Steph Tolev's debut hour special Filth Queen, produced by Bill Burr, premiered on Netflix in 2025 — an arrival that confirmed what the comedy industry had been saying for some time. She was selected as one of Variety's '10 Comics to Watch' in 2025. Her first major break came with a standout set in Burr's Bill Burr Presents: Friends Who Kill Netflix special, alongside Michelle Wolf, Jimmy Carr, Dave Attell, and Ronny Chieng.
Beyond the special, Tolev has built a track record across multiple platforms. She appeared as 'Barb' in Season 2 of Shane Gillis' Netflix series Tires, had a scene-stealing role in Burr's 2023 Netflix film Old Dads, and played herself during Deborah Vance's roast on HBO Max's Hacks. She is a regular and favourite at LA's Comedy Store and has headlined across the US on her Filth Queen and Keepin 'Em Hard tours.
Tolev represents an international booking with serious credentials and growing name recognition. She suits premium comedy events and festival headline slots that want an act on a genuine upward trajectory — someone already moving at pace through the top tier of the global circuit.
