One of Australia's most successful comedians — sharp observational humour and a reliably warm room.
Dave Hughes has been one of the most-booked corporate comedians in Australia for two decades — a national stand-up touring career, long-running breakfast radio, prime-time television and a steady stream of corporate MC and keynote work. The volume of live experience shows in the way he handles every room.
His style is observational, warm and consistently appropriate for the brief — a hard combination to find in a comedian working at corporate level. He's equally comfortable opening a national conference, headlining a gala dinner, or providing a tight ten-minute set inside a longer program.
For event organisers, Dave is a strong fit for awards nights, sales kickoffs, conference dinners and corporate entertainment where the brief is professional humour that lifts the room without putting it on edge. He works in-person and virtually.
Dave Hughes is an MC and entertainer based in Victoria. Book through Executive Speakers Australia.

Good communication, well received amongst the audience, funny, good duration of performance. Mixed well with the crowd and was happy for photo opportunities.Simplot Australia
Dave was great! They were able to make it work at late notice, make the time to catch up with us beforehand, followed our brief and were so entertaining and funny. The team loved it! Thank you.Samsung
Both Dave Hughes and Dave O'Neil generated smooth and funny banter between one another. Topics that you would not think could produce chatter were delivered with hilarious commentary.Chevron
