About Alicia

Alicia Loxley is one of Melbourne's most recognisable and respected television journalists. As a host and weekend anchor at Nine News Melbourne for more than 12 years, she has become a trusted face in Victorian homes — known for her composure under pressure, her precise communication and the warmth she brings to every story she tells.

Alicia's broadcasting career has taken her across Melbourne and regional Victoria, building the kind of deep understanding of community, business and public affairs that makes her an exceptionally well-prepared and insightful MC and event facilitator. Whether covering breaking news live to air or interviewing political leaders and business figures, she brings the same qualities that make her an outstanding corporate host: meticulous preparation, active listening and the ability to manage any situation with grace and professionalism.

As an MC, Alicia is a trusted choice for major corporate conferences, industry gala dinners, awards ceremonies and charity events. Her ability to set audiences at ease, manage the unexpected and give every event a sense of occasion and momentum has made her one of the most in-demand event hosts in Victoria.
