Darren Isenberg is a corporate MC, conference host and presentation skills coach who has been speaking at conferences and events since 1995, with more than 700 conferences, awards nights, roadshows and special events behind him. A former teacher, he works through warmth, wit and wordplay rather than stand-up material.
As an MC he's a safe pair of hands — well prepared, calm in front of a long run sheet, and able to bring the room back together after a heavy session or quiet lunch. He researches each event himself, writes custom material, and builds speaker introductions that carry the client's message without losing the room. He also works as an improviser, interviewer, facilitator and moderator across panel discussions, debates and brainstorms, and for returning clients he speaks to attendees beforehand to build a retrospective of the year just gone. His keynote and workshop, 'Seven ways to improve your positive influence', sets out seven strategies for leadership and communication, and can be run as either format.
