Market strategist and head of strategy at InvestSMART.
Evan Lucas is one of Australia's most-quoted markets commentators, currently head of strategy at InvestSMART and a regular contributor across Sky News Business, the ABC, the Australian Financial Review and Bloomberg. His analytical voice is built on years inside trading rooms and as the head strategist at IG Markets, and his keynotes carry the calm, evidence-driven tone of someone who has watched plenty of cycles play out.
For corporate audiences he's particularly valuable as a markets opener at conferences, sales kickoffs and investor events. He puts the macro picture, central bank policy, the local economy and the year ahead into a coherent argument without ever lapsing into either doom-mongering or boosterism.
Evan is a strong choice for financial services audiences and any event where the brief is a credible, plain-English read on where the markets and economy are actually heading.
