Glenn Lazarus OAM

About Glenn

Glenn Lazarus OAM holds a record that has never been matched: winning grand finals with three different NRL clubs — Canberra Raiders, Brisbane Broncos and Melbourne Storm — the first grand final victory for each of them. He played in six grand finals and won five, captained Melbourne Storm to their first championship after returning from a snapped ankle, and was twice named Players' Player on Australian Kangaroo Tours. He is also the only player in the history of rugby league to be elected to the Australian Senate.

What makes Glenn effective on stage is the authenticity that runs through both of his careers. His speaking topics — from culture and sacrifice to adversity and continuing forward — are drawn directly from experience: the garbologist who became a champion, the footballer who became a Senator, the man who introduced national inquiries into CSG mining, alcohol-fuelled violence and house fire deaths. There is nothing borrowed about any of it.

Book Glenn when you need a speaker who will connect with a broad room — senior leaders and frontline staff alike. Testimonials describe his stories about politics producing tears of laughter, and his core message about winning culture resonating long after the event. He is, in the words of one client, someone who leaves you feeling like you can achieve anything if you put everything into it.
