World-record BASE jumper, emergency medicine doctor and award-winning documentary filmmaker — presents with wife Heather
Glenn Singleman is one of Australia's most famous BASE jumpers, holding multiple world records. He is also a practising medical doctor working in emergency and critical care at Sydney Seventh Day Adventist Hospital, and served as doctor and part of the camera crew for James Cameron's Deep Ocean Expeditions. He produced 'BASEClimb', a film watched by over 150 million people worldwide and winner of 21 international awards, and went on to write, produce and direct BASEClimb 2 and BASEClimb 3. He has delivered over 700 professional presentations, many as return visits to Top 100 companies.
What distinguishes the Singleman presentation is the format itself: Glenn and his wife Heather present together, combining their compelling personal story with a visually spectacular, medically informed examination of the mind, fear and performance. The presentation uses stories from his career as an emergency doctor and world-record extreme sportsman to introduce frameworks for understanding cognition, overcoming fear, and sustaining intrinsic motivation. There is, as several clients have put it, simply nothing else like it.
Singleman's keynote works at conferences that need a genuine 'wow' segment — something with visual impact and emotional reach that also delivers substantive, applicable content. Clients including Commonwealth Bank, AMP and Business Chicks have themed entire events around him. His workshop, 'Beating Brain Bugs', extends the keynote into practical cognitive tools for self-awareness and performance. He is best suited to leadership and sales conferences, corporate strategy days and events where audiences are open to being genuinely confronted and moved.

In 25 years of television and literally thousands of presentations – yours in the best I have seen.Australian Story, ABC Television
In staging a successful event, you have to find a "WOW" segment. You certainly provided that element and more! No matter what personal fears we all have, … you showed that there is really no limit to what one can achieve if one sets one's mind to it. … We all climb our different mountains every day of our lives. You've shown us … how we can harness the fear and turn it into positive thrust. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.Commonwealth Bank, Australia
We themed our entire conference around Glenn & Heather and their concept of 'taking one step beyond'. It was an unprecedented hit with our 400 delegates. Glenn and Heather were fantastic to work with and we're looking forward to working with them again, and again. In fact we've already booked them for two more events in the coming months.Managing Director, Results Plus
