Broncos, Queensland and Australia captain, three-time premiership winner and Fox League analyst.
Gorden Tallis — 'The Raging Bull' — was one of the most ferociously committed forwards rugby league has produced. He captained the Brisbane Broncos, Queensland and Australia, played 16 Tests for Australia and 17 State of Origin games for Queensland, and won three premierships with Brisbane: the 1997 Super League title and the 1998 and 2000 NRL grand finals. He was central to a Queensland Origin era that's now legend, and was inducted into the Australian Rugby League Hall of Fame in 2018.
For corporate audiences he's a great storyteller and a refreshingly direct one. He talks about toughness without bravado, about captaincy without polish, and about the kind of week-in week-out commitment that produces a long elite career — 260 first-grade and representative games across St George and Brisbane before he retired in 2004. His media work, on NRL 360 for Fox League since 2024 and on Triple M Brisbane, keeps him sharp on the modern game and on the wider sports landscape.
Gorden is a strong fit for sports clubs, sales conferences, footy lunches and any event where the brief is straight-talking leadership from someone who has actually carried a team on his back.
Gorden Tallis is a keynote speaker based in Queensland who speaks on leadership, motivation and sport. Book through Executive Speakers Australia.
