Dual Olympic gold medallist, former Hockeyroos captain and ASX-listed company director.
Jenn Morris OAM won Olympic gold with the Hockeyroos in 1996 and 2000, captained the side, and was part of one of the most successful eras in Australian women's team sport. The Sydney 2000 gold medal final was her 150th and final game of hockey — and she scored in it. She was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in the 1997 Australia Day Honours.
Since hanging up the stick she has built a long second career as a corporate executive and board director. She was a partner at Deloitte and chief executive of the global human rights organisation Walk Free, spent seven years on the board of Fortescue Metals Group, and holds non-executive directorships at Sandfire Resources and Liontown Resources. She has also chaired Healthway and served on the boards of the WA Institute of Sport and the Fremantle Dockers. What makes Jenn a strong corporate speaker is that she bridges two worlds cleanly: the high-performance team culture that made the Hockeyroos a powerhouse, and the governance, strategy and leadership work she does every day in boardrooms now. She talks about both with the same matter-of-fact authority.
Jenn is a strong fit for women-in-leadership programs, sport-business audiences and any event where the brief is what genuinely high-performing teams and good governance look like in practice.
