Veteran Australian journalist and broadcaster — on media, women's voices and the editorial calls that shape belief.
Lisa Wilkinson is one of the most recognised journalists and broadcasters in Australia — appointed editor of Dolly at 21, where she tripled the magazine's circulation, then Cleo's longest-serving editor after being personally recruited by Kerry Packer, and later that title's international editor-in-chief across its New Zealand and Asian editions. She went on to co-host Nine's Today show for a decade, from 2007 to 2017, and joined Network Ten's The Project in 2018 before stepping down in November 2022. Few media figures have worked across as many of the country's major platforms over as long a career.
Her perspective on Australian media, public life and the changing position of women in both is shaped by being at the centre of all of it. She is a frank, well-prepared speaker on the realities of public scrutiny, on the trajectory of women's voices in mainstream media, and on the editorial calls that quietly shape what the public believes. She was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2016 for significant service to print and broadcast media as a journalist and presenter, and to a range of youth and women's health groups.
For event organisers, Lisa is a strong fit for women's events, leadership programs, major conferences, panel discussions and fireside interview formats where the brief is a substantive, recognisable voice on media, leadership and public discourse. She works in-person and virtually.

Lisa was great at facilitating the overall running of the Wine & Cheese tasting session. She was also very down to earth, appealed to the media and was funny to boot!Rowland Company, NSW
