Naomi Robson

About Naomi

Naomi Robson built one of the most recognised careers in Australian broadcast journalism, hosting the Logie-winning public affairs programme Today Tonight as the number-one show in its time slot for nearly a decade — from 1997 to 2006. Before that she worked as a journalist and news reporter with Seven News. That front-line experience — reading audiences, managing pressure, and communicating under scrutiny — is the foundation of everything she now teaches.

Since 2007, Naomi has been director and lead trainer at Managing Your Message, specialising in customised presentation skills training, media training, crisis communications, and consulting. Her programmes cover message construction, storytelling, delivery, body language, voice, controlling nerves, and maximising audience impact. She has delivered workshops and masterclasses for executive MBA programmes at Monash University and Deakin University, and has worked with companies preparing for IPOs and high-stakes media engagements.

Naomi's combination of genuine broadcast experience and structured training methodology gives her sessions a credibility that most communication trainers cannot match. She works with senior executives, sales and marketing teams, and professionals across industries — and serves as a skilled MC for corporate events, bringing the same attention to detail that Toyota Motor Corporation called 'simply first class'. She suits conferences, leadership retreats, and any organisation that wants its people to communicate with more confidence and impact.
