The Gadget Guy on Channel Seven's Sunrise — Australia's most recognisable consumer technology expert and National Cyber Safety Ambassador.
Peter Blasina is known to Australian audiences as The Gadget Guy — a regular presence on Channel Seven's Sunrise programme and one of the country's most recognisable commentators on consumer technology. Over a career spent at the intersection of technology and mainstream media, he has established himself as one of Australia's foremost experts on technological developments, appearing frequently in national newspapers and key technology publications. He is also a National Cyber Safety Ambassador for the Federal Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy.
What Blasina does well is what most technology communicators cannot: he makes new technology genuinely accessible and relevant to audiences who are not technologists. His credibility is not with the specialist community — it is with the millions of Australians who learned about new devices and digital trends from watching him on morning television.
He suits corporate events where technology literacy is the goal rather than the starting point — industry association conferences, consumer-facing business events, and any occasion where the audience needs a trusted, approachable guide to the technology that is changing their professional and personal lives. He also works effectively as an MC or event host for technology and business events.
Peter Blasina is a keynote speaker based in New South Wales who speaks on business strategy, media & journalism and technology. Book through Executive Speakers Australia.
