Television presenter, radio host, and MC — versatile hosting across sport, corporate and major events since 2006
Shura Taft has been a fixture of Australian television and radio since 2006, hosting across all the major networks — kids' programs, music, sport, and reality formats. He has hosted Eclipse Music TV, Uplate GO!, The Supercoach Show on Fox Footy, and the live broadcasts of both the 2012 Brownlow Medal Red Carpet and the 2012 AFL Rising Star Award. He has been the home game MC for Hawthorn Football Club at the MCG since 2014.
His MC work extends well beyond sport. He has hosted events for Tennis Australia — including the Hopman Cup, Australian Open finals and Kids' Tennis Day — as well as for the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League. In radio, he worked for NOVA 100 from 2006 to 2011 and for MMM Melbourne, anchoring the Weekend Breakfast show heard nationally with Jo Stanley and Michael Beveridge.
Shura currently hosts online content for Tennis Australia, the PGA of Australia, AAMI and Isuzu. He is also a marriage celebrant. As an MC, he has hosted hundreds of events across corporate, charity and sporting contexts — from gala dinners and product launches to awards nights and major live broadcasts. He is an ambassador for TLC for Kids and Red Dust Role Models, and has worked closely with Camp Quality, Kids Under Cover, the Leukaemia Foundation and Fight MND. His trademark is professionalism without stiffness — warm, adaptable, and always across the brief.

Hawthorn Football Club engaged the services of Shura Taft for the Club's 2015 Melbourne home games as game day host. Shura was a pleasure to work with always willing to go above and beyond and being able to improvise in front of a live crowd — sometimes up to 80,000 people which is a great skill and one that Shura carried out extremely well. Hawthorn Football Club would engage Shura's services again in the future.Event Manager, Hawthorn Football Club
Shura was the perfect host for our major Australian Open events. He was engaging, humourous and relatable but most importantly, he understood our brand. The room was a mix of corporates, including many international guests who remained highly engaged by Shura as he moved with ease through the hosting requirements for the evening. He was flexible and adapted quickly to the many changes that happen during events, meaning as the event manager, I never had to worry!Public Relations Manager, Blackmores
Shura certainly knows his way around a microphone and stage. When he is available, he is always our first choice for MCing due to his ability to literally bring an event to life. His energy and enthusiasm knows no bounds but it's his level of professionalism and devotion to any job he undertakes that sets him apart from the rest.Ignition EM
