About Tim

Tim Campbell is one of Australia's most versatile and much loved entertainers — known to television audiences for lead roles in Home and Away, House Husbands, Big Sky and Dead Gorgeous, and to stage audiences through lead roles in Wicked, Rent and Shout! He has hosted national prime-time programmes including Celebrity Singing Bee, Wheel of Fortune and National Bingo Night, and appears annually on Channel 9's Carols By Candlelight.

Where Campbell stands apart is in the combination of MC discipline and live performance. He fronts The Tim Campbell Band, whose set draws on dance floor favourites from his ARIA top 30 and iTunes top 10 album High School Disco — 70s and 80s hits that reliably move a room. He performs as a feature vocalist, acoustic act and vocalist with dance production, but it is his ability to combine stage entertainment with genuine MC responsibilities — briefing clients, managing timing and reading the energy of the room — that accounts for a notably high rate of re-bookings.

His corporate client list includes Fiat Chrysler, Westfield, Nestlé, Volvo, KPMG, Crown Casino Australia, Honda MPE, RSPCA Victoria, Toyota, Coca-Cola and the Youth Olympics Committee, among many others. Campbell suits gala balls, award nights, charity fundraising dinners, outdoor public events, product launches and breakfast functions — particularly where the organiser wants a single talent who can host and perform without the seams showing.
