Two-time award winner at the FISM World Championship of Magic and the face of Australian magic
Tim Ellis is internationally recognised as the face of Australian magic. He is a two-time award winner at the FISM World Championship of Magic — the Special Prize of the Jury at Lausanne in 1991 for Six Card Rap, and second place in Micro Magic at Yokohama in 1994 — was nominated Lecturer of the Year at Hollywood's Magic Castle, and holds the Guinness World Record for the longest magic show at 85 hours, set in 2016 with a team of Melbourne magicians.
He has performed on more than 100 television shows worldwide, is president of the Australian Institute of Magic, founder and artistic director of the Melbourne Magic Festival, and owner of The Laneway Theatre. For corporate audiences he is unusually versatile — a fully bespoke stage show that weaves an event's messaging into the magic, intimate strolling magic between courses, a corporate MC slot, or a keynote drawn from his own creative life.
He suits a black-tie awards night, a gala dinner, a product launch or any event that needs a peak moment people talk about long afterwards.
Tim Ellis is a keynote speaker, MC and entertainer based in Victoria. Book through Executive Speakers Australia.
Tim will create a show perfectly designed to suit your event. Whether it’s a group of just ten VIPs, or an audience of 3,000 delegates, Tim can weave your message into his magic in a way that will always be remembered. His audience interaction and comedy brings everyone together in a truly immersive entertainment experience. With over 450 different acts of magic to choose from, Tim also makes an excellent MC to excite your next awards night.
For those occasions where a stage show doesn’t quite fit, Tim can take his magic from guest to guest as he performs his award-winning close-up magic over cocktails or at tables between courses. These random acts of magic have such high emotional impact they are talked about for years to come.
For something truly unique, Tim offers a powerful keynote presentation about his amazing career. How being diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome helped him find his authentic voice and revealed the true secret of making lasting connections in a transactional world.
He also offers team building workshops where he teaches your delegates to “think like magicians”. Problems are transformed into exciting challenges as Tim teaches some level-one magic tricks that everyone will be able to master and perform. Find out why MagicSeen Magazine (UK) said “Tim is one of the hottest magicians in the world!”
