Former Australian Test cricketer and respected coach.
Wayne Phillips played Test cricket for Australia in the 1980s and became one of the most respected coaches in the country in the decades after, working with state, women's and youth programs as well as in senior development roles within Cricket Australia. He is part of the deep coaching infrastructure that shaped a generation of Australian cricketers.
For corporate audiences he brings the kind of grounded storytelling that great coaches develop over a long career — anecdotes from inside dressing rooms and Test tours, paired with the unglamorous truth about preparation, team culture and the long road from talent to performance.
Wayne is a strong fit for sports-business events, footy and cricket lunches and any audience that wants a former player and seasoned coach as their speaker rather than a brand-name star.
Wayne Phillips is a keynote speaker based in South Australia who speaks on leadership, motivation and sport. Book through Executive Speakers Australia.
