TOMS founder and creator of the ENOUGH movement on mental health and purpose
Blake Mycoskie founded TOMS Shoes and the One for One movement, which gave over 100 million pairs of shoes to children in need and helped spark a new generation of social enterprise. After selling the company, he found himself confronting something the external markers of success had not prepared him for — a profound depression that, at his lowest point, brought him close to ending his life.
That breaking point became the foundation of his next chapter: ENOUGH, a cultural movement built on the belief that much mental ill-health is rooted in the conviction that we are not enough. Through conversation, community and a green ENOUGH bracelet sold in pairs — one to keep, one to give — Blake is channelling his recovery into a platform for honest dialogue about mental health at scale.
Blake also co-founded Morning Water and Moovlab, wellness brands reflecting a more conscious approach to building, and hosts No Magic Pill, a podcast offering unfiltered conversations about mental health. He speaks on entrepreneurship, purpose and mental wellbeing — sharing what it took to rebuild from the inside out, and why embracing inherent enoughness is the foundation for everything that follows.

Most organizations are pushing for more: more output, more speed, more growth. But the highest-performing teams know that sustainable results beat short-term intensity.
Blake Mycoskie built TOMS into a global phenomenon, but at the height of that success, he faced a mental health crisis that forced him to rethink everything he believed about achievement.
His new model for leadership reframes purpose and performance through ENOUGH, a cultural intervention built to spread simple yet powerful reminders of self-worth. The result is a more resilient, focused way of operating, where clarity improves decision-making, teams avoid burnout, and success is built to last.
In today's environment, speed is easy. Clarity is rare. Blake Mycoskie scaled TOMS by making simple, high-conviction decisions in moments where others would overanalyze.
This talk breaks down how mental overload, stress, and constant input quietly degrade decision quality, and what leaders can do about it. Blending lessons from building TOMS with real-world leadership insights, Blake gives teams a clear edge: how to cut through noise, improve decision-making, and operate with focus in high-pressure environments.
The rise of TOMS looked like a blueprint for modern business: a purpose-driven model that scaled globally and reshaped consumer expectations. But rapid growth comes with tradeoffs. Some decisions accelerate momentum. Others quietly create pressure that compounds over time.
Blake Mycoskie breaks down what made that growth work — and what, in hindsight, needed to be built differently. From how purpose translates inside an organization to how intensity shapes culture, this session reframes the real cost of scaling and what it takes to build companies that perform without burning out the systems, and people, that sustain them.
