Dr Kristin Alford is the inaugural Director of MOD. — the futures museum at the University of South Australia — an institution that attracts more than 50,000 visitors per year and has established itself as one of the country's most distinctive platforms for public engagement with futures thinking. She has been named in Forbes' 50 Leading Female Futurists, is the Regional Editor for the Journal of Futures Studies, and served as Lead for the Australian Academy of Sciences Australia 2050 project. She has taught more than 3,000 people through her roles as a lecturer at the University of Adelaide and the Leaders' Institute of South Australia, was the inaugural licensee and host of TEDx Adelaide, and contributes regularly to the ABC.
