CEO of Fleet Space Technologies & Space Entrepreneur
Flavia Tata Nardini is the co-founder and CEO of Fleet Space Technologies, one of Australia's most exciting and consequential technology startups. A former propulsion test engineer at the European Space Agency (ESA) with a Masters degree in Space Engineering from the University La Sapienza in Rome, Flavia came to Australia to build something that had never been built before: a constellation of nanosatellites that could connect billions of sensors across the globe and transform the economics of remote monitoring in mining, agriculture and environmental management.
Fleet Space is preparing to launch 100 nanosatellites into orbit — a network that will enable real-time monitoring of assets in the most remote places on earth at a fraction of the cost of conventional satellite infrastructure. The technology has profound applications in mineral exploration (where Fleet's AI-powered seismic platform is already in commercial use), precision agriculture, climate monitoring and logistics. Flavia holds two patents and has received multiple industry awards for her contribution to Australian innovation.
As a speaker, Flavia brings the authority of a trained space engineer, the ambition of a serial entrepreneur and the accessibility of a communicator who genuinely loves explaining why space matters to people who have never thought about it before. She speaks at major technology, innovation and leadership conferences about the commercial space revolution, the future of AI in resource industries and what it means to build an Australian company that is genuinely competing on the world stage.
Flavia Tata Nardini is a keynote speaker based in South Australia who speaks on artificial intelligence, innovation and leadership. Book through Executive Speakers Australia.
