Food, wine and lifestyle personality — eight TV series, nine food and wine books, and an experienced MC
Lyndey Milan OAM is one of Australia's most recognised food, wine and lifestyle personalities. Across a career spanning more than 30 years, she has shared her knowledge of food and wine with international audiences through eight TV series and nine food and wine books, and in her former role as Food Director of The Australian Women's Weekly. Her book Taste of Australia won 'Best TV Chef Book' in English at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, and her series Lyndey Milan's Taste of Australia continues to screen internationally and on airlines. She has held prestigious industry roles including Vice-President of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW and Chair of its Fine Food Committee, and in 2014 she was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for services to hospitality, particularly to the food and wine industry, and to the community.
What distinguishes Lyndey is her range. She is an award-winning multi-media presenter, MC, speaker, food and wine teacher, consultant, debater, judge and regional Australian specialist — a regular guest on Australian TV networks' morning programs, and equally at home running a cooking demonstration, moderating a panel or championing regional producers. From boardrooms to conventions, her no-nonsense approach has made her a trusted hand on anything to do with food, wine, agriculture and lifestyle.
Event organisers come back to Lyndey because she delivers — clients describe her as remarkable, sensational and a great light-touch MC, with practical tips and down-to-earth advice. Her topics range from the evolution of Australian cuisine and food and wine matching to females in the workplace, media training and team building through food and wine experiences. For awards nights, industry conferences, gala dinners and food and wine events, Lyndey Milan is the rare host who is both genuine subject-matter authority and consummate professional on the microphone.

A huge thank you for helping making the awards last night the success it was. You were, and are sensational. We could not have done it without you and very much appreciate all of your input, time and effort that went into the making of last night. We have had such incredible feedback from all of the guests that both Luke (Mangan) and I have spoken to saying how wonderful it was to have a relevant, respected industry professional MC (and Judge) the awards.Project Director, Elextrolux Appetitie for Excellence
You were remarkable on Tuesday night and made an incredible contribution to the success and professionalism of the evening. We are so very blessed to have your support. There were a number of people who commented to me during, and after the night, on your amazing efforts. You also had some really good ideas for improvement which you shared with me on Tuesday, which we can hopefully incorporate into next year’s event.CEO, Cure Cancer
