Bi-lateral below-knee amputee, Australian representative golfer and counsellor who speaks on finding your UPSIDE
Michael Rolls is a bi-lateral below-knee amputee who represented Australia at the 2014 World Disabled Golf Championship in Tsukuba, Japan, plays off a handicap of 4, and is a qualified counsellor through the Australian College of Applied Psychology. He is a foundation member of Limbs 4 Life and a celebrity ambassador for The Eureka Climb Whitelion/Interplast event. His core message — find and live your UPSIDE — is built from a life that could have gone the other way.
What distinguishes Rolls is the combination of physical achievement, psychological training and unsparing honesty. He does not talk around difficulty; he walks through it, and his presentations carry the credibility of someone who has worked through the grief, rebuilt the self-talk and still chooses the harder path. His work with the Professional Golfers Association of Victoria demonstrates that his methods translate into structured professional environments, not just conference rooms.
Michael speaks to resilience, goal setting, smashing toxic beliefs and the role of sport and physical activity in wellbeing — with presentation topics that also include attitude adjustment, increasing your percentage and entering a different zone. He has addressed school students, corporate executives, medical professionals and charitable organisations with equal effect.
Michael Rolls is a keynote speaker based in Victoria who speaks on education, inspiration and mental health & wellbeing. Book through Executive Speakers Australia.
